While internships at Stan Hywet are typically unpaid, they are an excellent way to begin building work skills as well as connections that are invaluable to a successful future career path. Guided by seasoned, professional staff, interns apply knowledge and techniques learned in the classroom with an immersive experience in a nonprofit museum setting. Areas we typically offer internships in include collections/archives, educational programming and interpretation, event management, and horticulture/gardening, just to name a few.
