Earth Day Celebration

April 19 | 11am-4pm

Celebrate the beauty of nature at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens’s Earth Day Celebration! — included with regular admission!

Spend the day exploring engaging, family-friendly activities designed to inspire a deeper connection to the environment. Enjoy interactive experiences like making an up-cycled craft with Stan Hywet's Education Department, learning about plastic recycling with Akron-based Tansy Recycling, discover local trails and conservation efforts with Summit Metro Parks, and join our Horticulture Manager for an enlightening look at the pollinators that keep our gardens thriving!

Don’t miss a guided Bird Walk with Greater Akron Audubon Society from 12:00–1:30 p.m. or a Guided Tree Walk from 2:30–3:30 p.m. (both meeting in the Courtyard). Most activities will take place outdoors, but in the event of rain, festivities will move to the Carriage House. Regular guided tours and daily operations will also be available —making it the perfect spring day to learn, explore, and celebrate the planet!
