Guided Forest Therapy-For Adults

Step away from the noise of everyday life and immerse yourself in the restorative beauty of nature during Guided Forest Therapy for Adults at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens.

Join Amanda Essinger, IMFT-S, LPCC, RPT™, licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist and ANFT-Certified Forest Therapy Guide, for a two-hour guided experience on the estate grounds. Programs will take place:

• Saturday, May 16, 2026 | 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
• Sunday, August 23, 2026 | 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
• Saturday, October 17, 2026 | 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Each date features a unique theme, offering a fresh opportunity to engage with the natural world in a meaningful way.

Forest Therapy (also known as “forest bathing”) is a research-backed wellness practice rooted in the Japanese tradition of Shinrin-Yoku. Through guided invitations, mindful walking, and quiet reflection, participants experience the calming and restorative effects of nature while deepening their sense of connection to the environment.
