It's 1925 and Akron is celebrating its centennial, and a time capsule seems like the perfect way to preserve what life is like in Akron in 1925, and to share at the bicentennial in the far-off year of 2025. Hanging over the illustrious individuals asked to represent the city in the capsule are secrets, sins, and shady dealings that no one wants to see come to light. After a murder occurs, the guilty party is hopeful that the truth will remain buried for 100 years – but, it is up to the guests to determine who murdered our victim and who truly embodies the “Spirit of Akron.”
Guests are encouraged to dress in 1920s attire. Recommended for guests 17 & older. Program entails long periods of standing, and walking up and down stairs (only the first floor of the Manor House is wheelchair accessible).
