Gala in the Garden: Dress Code Update
Attending Gala in the Garden this Friday, June 21? To ensure everyone's comfort and safety during this extreme heat, we've updated the dress code from black-tie to a more heat-friendly dress code.

Jackets are NOT required.  Polos are entirely acceptable!

Here are more suggestions to keep you cool and elegant throughout the evening:

All Guests:

  • Fabrics: Opt for lightweight, breathable fabrics that let your body breathe.
  • Colors: Lighter colors are ideal, as they reflect heat better than darker colors.
  • Shoes: Ditch the closed-toe shoes and embrace elegant sandals or flats.

Women:

  • Dresses: Flowing, knee-length dresses in breathable fabrics are perfect for the heat.
  • Pantsuits: A well-tailored pantsuit in a light fabric is a sophisticated and comfortable choice.

Men:

  • Suits: Lightweight linen or seersucker suits will keep you cool. Skip the vest and tie for a more relaxed look.
  • Shirts: Choose a breathable, light-colored dress shirt with a button-down collar. Linen or a cotton blend are good options.
  • Pants: Lighter-colored chinos or linen pants are a stylish alternative to black dress pants.

Additional Tips:

  • Sunscreen is essential when it's sunny! Bug spray will be available at each bar.
  • Hydration: Stay hydrated throughout the evening by drinking water.

We look forward to celebrating with you at Stan Hywet!
